Further details reported by GSMArena.com indicate that the device is expected to feature the recently unveiled M16 OLED panel. This marks a notable development for the Ultra series, which has maintained its display technology for a considerable period.
Camera Specifications for the S27 Ultra
Details regarding the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra’s camera system have also emerged, clarifying earlier conflicting rumours. While an initial rumour suggested a new telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom and a 1/1.9″ type sensor, more recent information from Roland Quandt, cited by GSMArena.com, strongly implies otherwise. The S27 Ultra is now expected to use a 50MP 5x optical zoom telephoto camera with a Sony sensor, which would be the exact same camera seen in its predecessor, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Additionally, the ultrawide camera on the Galaxy S27 Ultra is also reported to have a 50MP resolution, matching that of the S26 Ultra. A notable change is anticipated for the front-facing camera, with the upcoming flagship expected to feature a 16MP selfie camera equipped with autofocus.
